Blocks that add visual appeal to your page

Most of your page will be made up of blocks such as headlines and paragraphs. But adding just a few eye candy blocks can make a real difference.

Use these blocks to make your pages shine

You don’t have to get complicated in order to add visual appeal and pizzazz to your pages. The blocks below look great and only take a few minutes to set up.

The Call To Action Block

Just place this block in your page, add your text and choose a background image or color. It’s easy.

The Gallery block

The gallery block is not an Atomic Block it’s built in to WordPress.

The Image block

The image block is built into WordPress.


The Advanced Columns block

This is a single column block with a background color. The block contains a paragraph with larger font size, a paragraph block set to normal font size and a button block.

This is an example of the Media & Text block.

The Media & Text block

This block makes it really easy to add visual appeal by putting an image to the left or right of a text block. You can resize the image by dragging the image’s handles. To add more blocks on the text side, just insert a block before or after any other block.

The Media & Text block is not an atomic block, it’s built into WordPress.


The Cover image is easy to use and adds a lot of visual appeal to your page. What’s not to like?
